Senior UAV pilot

About the role 

As a Senior UAV Pilot you plan, organise and execute more complex inspection missions. Projects can be very diverse. Missions on complex (petro)chemical plants, offshore riggs, bridges, wind turbines, construction sites, solar panels or surveying large areas of land or shores can be part of your 'daily routine'. You will manage the project on location and represent DDC professionally towards variety of stakeholders. Projects can be internationally, remote and occasionally during night or weekends. 

What we are looking for

You have 2+ years’ experience in flying UAV's and delivering variety of aerial inspections. You love new technology and are a real problem solver. You are organised, take initiative and a team player. You love to learn and teach others, sharing your experience and knowledge. Based on the requirements, you know how to organise the best results with the right equipment and team. You know how to combine situational dependencies with technical possibilities and legal limitations.  Ideally you have experience in working with various type of UAV's (drone- rotory and/or fixed wing) and have a good understanding of various payload options (like Photo, Video, Infrared or variety of sensors). 

Skills

• RPA-L and/or A1/A3 + A2 certificate for Open Category or EASA Specific-categorie
• Fluent in Dutch and English (other languages is bonus)
• Drivers licence
• RT (optional)
• VCA-VOL (optional)
